When School Feels Like A Lot...

A simple, supportive guide for highly sensitive children and the parents who love them.

Maybe your child is excited about school…

but mornings feel overwhelming.

Getting dressed becomes a battle.

Goodbyes feel really big.

They come home exhausted, emotional, irritable, or completely shut down.

And by bedtime, everyone is running on empty.

If your child experiences the world deeply, school isn't just a mental experience. It's a sensory, emotional, and nervous-system experience, too.

And sometimes what looks like defiance, anxiety, meltdowns, or "bad behavior" is actually a sensitive nervous system saying:

"This is too much. I need help coming back to myself."
Your child's sensitivity is their greatest strength... and you can learn to support their sensitivity rather than trying to "fix" them.

This simple mini-course will help you understand what may be happening beneath the surface and give you practical tools to make the three biggest transition points of the school day feel calmer:

🌿 Morning: helping your child prepare their body and nervous system for the day ahead.

🌿 After School: creating space to decompress, reconnect, and release the sensory load of the day.

🌿 Evening: helping their body settle so they can transition toward rest and sleep.

You'll learn simple sensory and somatic strategies that can become part of your family's everyday rhythm, without adding another complicated routine to your life.

Inside, You'll Learn:

  • Why highly sensitive children can struggle so much with transitions

  • What sensory overload can look like in everyday family life

  • How to recognize when your child's nervous system is overwhelmed

  • Simple ways to support your child before school

  • How to create a gentle after-school decompression rhythm

  • Evening practices that help the body feel safe enough to settle

  • What you can do when your child's emotions become big

  • How to stop seeing sensitivity as something that needs to be "fixed"

A Calmer Home Starts with Small Changes

It's about learning to notice and understand what your child's body might be communicating.

To make small shifts that can completely change the way your family moves through the day.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing we can give a sensitive child isn't another strategy.

It's the feeling of being understood.

Inside this mini-course, you'll receive:

✨ Short teaching videos
Simple, supportive lessons you can actually fit into your life.

🌿 A practical workbook
Reflection pages, tools, prompts, and simple practices you can return to again and again.

💛 Sensitive-child affirmations

For the Mom Who Keeps Wondering…

"Why does every step of the day with them feel so hard?"

"Why is my child fine at school but falling apart at home?"

"Am I doing something wrong?"

"How can I help without making things worse?"

You're not failing and your child's sensitivity isn't something that needs to be fixed.

There may simply be a different way of supporting them.

One that honors their body, their senses, their emotions, and their unique way of experiencing the world.

Let's make the transition back to school a little gentler with

The School Sensitivity Reset

A transformative guide for understanding and supporting your highly sensitive child's nervous system through the school day.

A Note From Ashley

I've spent years learning about the connection between the body, emotions, energy, and our environment — and I've seen again and again how much can change when we stop fighting what the body is telling us and start listening.

Their sensitivity is one of the greatest gifts to this world. It's how they notice when a friend needs a hug, feel connected to the natural environment around them, and are helping to shift this world into a kinder one.

Sensitive children often don't need us to push them through their experience to try to "toughen them up". They need someone who can recognize what their body is communicating and help them find their way back to safety and regulation.

That's what this little course is here to help you do.

One small shift at a time.

With more understanding.

More connection.

And a little more peace for both of you.

You can learn how to help the world feel a little safer and more joyful for them to be and love themselves.
With love,

Ashley Kay
